Serbia sealed a qualifying spot to the 2010 World Cup with a clinical 5-0 victory over Romania in their final group game. Unfortunately for the Serbs, they didn't have the greatest of World Cups ( They did beat fancied Germans though). Hopes were high after this performance against Romania in which both Milos Krasic and Milan Jovanovic tore the Romanians to shreds.

Love him or hate him, Cristiano Ronaldo is one hell of a talented footballer. The world's most expensive footballer notched just over 30 goals in 35 games for Real Madrid. Although his goals didn't bring in any trophies, the Madridista's were delighted with his first season and the quality of his goals were at times close to breathtaking. Fernando Torres- Season 2009/2010

Season 2009/2010 was one to forget for all Liverpool Fans as a combination of off the field dramas ( American owners piling debt onto the club) and poor form saw the club slip to 7th place in the EPL. There was one shining light though, Fernando Torres, who continued his good form with the club by notching over 20 goals unfortunately injuries prevented him from having an even greater impact in helping the clubs's fortunes. One for the future. Jonjo Shelvey is a highly rated youngster who recently signed for Liverpool FC from Charlton FC. He is regarded as a box to box midfielder who bases his game on Liverpool Captain, Steven Gerrard. I compiled a match video on Jonjo during Charlton's League One clash against Brentford from season 2009/2010. For a 17 year old he didn't look out of place as Charlton sealed a 2-0 victory over their opponents.
